Testing Before Shipping, Not After a Claim Carbon · Ash · Density · Compressive Strength · Leakage Rate

Graphite packing performance is determined by carbon content, ash, density, and the way the material is compressed. Those are measurable variables — and Kaxite measures them on each production lot before dispatch, so the report matches the batch, not the catalog.

Custom Impregnation & Graphite Grade Selection

PTFE dispersion, graphite, and silicone impregnations cover most pump and valve duties. For aggressive media, high shaft speeds, or specific friction targets, the lab evaluates the impregnation and graphite grade against the buyer’s operating envelope.

  • PTFE dispersion for chemical resistance and low friction
  • Graphite grade selection for thermal and oxidation limits
  • Silicone and specialty lubricants for break-in control
  • Inconel wire or mesh reinforcement review for high-pressure duty

What the Buyer Receives

For each qualified specification, the buyer can receive test data tied to the production batch, not a generic catalog value. This matters when the packing or ring goes into a documented maintenance or shutdown scope.

  • Batch-level test report with measured values
  • Link to MTR and EN 10204 3.1 certificate when specified
  • Technical data sheet with temperature, pressure, and pH limits
  • Formulation and grade notes for repeat orders

Have a specification that standard graphite packing cannot meet?

Send the operating conditions and the lab team will review the grade and impregnation route.
